Pan pizza is super quick easy and yeast less recipe which you can make it in no time on your regular stove. Make it with your favorite sauce and toppings and you will enjoy it anytime.


  • 1 pound fillo dough sheets
  • 1/2 pound unsalted butter (226 ml) + 1/4 Cup vegetable oil
  • For walnut mixture:
  • Walnut – 1 1/2 Cups walnut
  • Cinnamon powder – 1 TSP
  • Sugar – 1/4 Cup
  • For sugar syrup:
  • Water – 3/4 Cup
  • Honey – 1/4 Cup
  • Sugar – 3/4 Cup
  • Lime juice – 1 TSP


  • First prepare walnut mixture.
  • For making walnut mixture, Add walnut to chopper.
  • And give pulse until it chopped nicely.
  • Don’t over chop it. There has to be small walnut chunks in it.
  • Take it out in bowl and add cinnamon powder and sugar to it.
  • Mix it well.
  • Walnut mixture is ready now.
  • Melt unsalted butter and oil together for layering.
  • Defrost fillo pastry sheets as per the instructions on box. It will take 2-3 hours to defrost it.
  • It will have two packets, open one at time.
  • Cover opened pastry sheets with damp cloth to prevent it drying out. (If you can work fast,you don’t need this step to follow)
  • Grease 9*13 baking pan with butter-oil. Use pastry brush for easy and hassle free layering process.
  • You can use small pan also, Simply cut fillo dough sheets as per the size of pan.
  • Start layering fillo sheets.
  • Be gentle and patience, it will take few attempt to get perfection.
  • Layer two sheets at a time and apply butter-oil to it.
  • Repeat these steps until you done with one pouch of fillo sheets.
  • It will have about 20-22 sheets in one pouch.
  • When you are half way, sprinkle mixture of crushed walnut, cinnamon powder and sugar mixture to it.
  • When you done with walnut mixture,again start layering with butter-oil mixture on every 2nd sheet until you done with 2nd pack of fillo sheets.
  • After you done with all the layers, start cutting diamond of square any shape you like.
  • Drizzle leftover butter-oil mixture to it.
  • Let this bake in preheated oven at 350 fahrenheit for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Meanwhile prepare sugar syrup.
  • Add water and sugar to pan and let it boil until sugar dissolve completely.
  • Once it starts boiling, honey and lime juice to it.
  • Let it boil again on medium flame for 2 minutes and off stove.
  • After baklava get done, wait for 10 minutes before you pour syrup to it so both will be on warm temperature.
  • Let it wait for 2 hours until syrup soaked by baklava.
